We Accept the GI Bill
Transitioning from a career in the military to civilian life can be a challenging period. Veterans leaving the armed services often find it difficult to align their acquired skills with opportunities in the civilian job market. Fortunately, the truck driving industry is currently experiencing significant growth, and it provides an excellent match for individuals with the disciplined and can-do mindset instilled by military service.
Truck drivers and the trucking industry are vital components of our nation’s infrastructure, with more than 80 percent of U.S. communities relying exclusively on trucking for the delivery of essential goods and commodities. Just as you served your country, now you can contribute to keeping America’s economy moving by becoming a professional truck driver.
Some CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) Academy locations have been approved for Veterans’ Education Benefits, making it easier for veterans to access training in this field. By pursuing a full-time career in truck driving, you can enjoy a range of benefits, including medical and life insurance, 401k retirement plans, paid holidays and vacations, and numerous opportunities for career advancement.
This industry offers not only a rewarding career path but also the chance to continue serving your country in a different capacity.

To initiate the enrollment of benefits, the veteran or another eligible individual must complete the necessary application process. For veterans who have not yet utilized their benefits, the appropriate application forms are VA Form 22-1990. Eligible dependents who are not veterans should use VA Form 22-5490. If veterans have previously utilized their benefits, they should use VA Form 22-1995, while other eligible dependents should complete VA Form 22-5495.
We strongly encourage veterans or eligible individuals to submit their applications online to ensure a seamless process without any interruptions in benefit reception. These application forms can be accessed on the Veterans Administration’s official website, where you will find a dedicated link on the homepage for applying for VA education benefits.
The eligibility of students for Veterans Education Benefits is determined and administered by the Veterans Administration. The VA assesses initial eligibility and ensures continued eligibility throughout the enrollment period.
